Julie Morris has lived and worked in Epsom for 45 years. She was educated at Lynton Prep and then Rosebery School. Julie worked for WS Atkins for 13 years, then as a Marketing Manager for an electronics company and now runs her own landscape gardening business. She has two children, both at university.

Julie was first elected a Borough Councillor in 1997.

On Epsom & Ewell Borough Council (EEBC), Julie currently has the following roles:

  • Member of EEBC's Environment Committee

  • Member of EEBC's Leisure Committee

  • Member of EEBC's Strategy & Resources Committee

Julie is currently Leader of the Liberal Democrat group, which is the main opposition group on Epsom & Ewell Borough Council.

Julie Morris has driven numerous campaigns including the Daffodil Challenge and was a founder member of Local Agenda 21 (now known as the Environment Forum) in Epsom in 1998. She is a committed environmentalist.

Julie Morris wants our hospital to stay in Epsom, more small-scale shops locally, better parking enforcement and for Epsom & Ewell to become a leader in the field of recycling.

In her spare time, Julie horse-rides, cycles, gardens and works on her allotment.
