Charles Wood - Town ward
Charles Wood has lived in Epsom for over 30 years, but was born in Barbados. He is married with two sons and a daughter and worked in the National Health Service as a Nurse Therapist. He is a member of the Choir at St. Joseph's church, where he also has a role distributing the Sacrament. In addition he is the Secretary of the Phoenix social club, Epsom. In his younger days Charles was a keen cricket player. Nowadays his main sporting passion is horse racing, and he is a member of the Epsom Racecourse. He is also a life member of the Epsom-Chantilly association. On Epsom & Ewell Borough Council (EEBC) Charles currently has the following roles:
Charles Wood is Epsom & Ewell's first Councillor from an ethnic minority.
