Generating our own electricity could make sights such as these cooling towers a thing of the past

Epsom & Ewell Energy Group are holding a public meeting on Wednesday 10th March (7.30pm at WS Atkins, Woodcote Grove off Ashley Road) on generating electricity at home.

Generating some of our own electricity and selling the surplus back to the grid, sounds good. There's a lot of enthusiasm about producing electricity from photovoltaics, but it only makes financial sense if the government ensures a fair price for the electricity it buys back.

Dave Timms from Friends of the Earth will be presenting the topic. Everyone is welcome. There is no charge for attendance. For more details follow the Related Link below.
