Six to Fix

Throughout Epsom & Ewell people have resisted the siren call "It's time for change - vote Conservative" and wisely continued, as they have ever since 1997, to opt for parties opposed to the Tories running one-star Surrey.

Colin Taylor has been re-elected for a third term in Epsom & Ewell South West with an increased majority. This division has consistently voted Lib Dem from 1993 onwards, having previously been held by the Tories. The RA fielded a candidate for the first time since 1997, but could only reach third place. Labour came bottom of the poll behind UKIP.

The RA retained all the other Epsom & Ewell seats, despite Lib Dem Diana Coman making a strong showing in Epsom & Ewell South East, where the Lib Dem "Six to Fix" campaign and Diana's Pot Hole Blog (see Related Link below) struck a chord with many electors.
